  • How do we represent our familial inheritance patterns? How does that impact the way we look?

 

Overview of the Lesson:

  • Students will participate in a peer feedback loop

    • Students will be assigned into mixed ability groups of 2-3, they will share their pedigrees and receive feedback about the accuracy of their pedigree and areas of improvement (UDL principles 8.3, 8.4)

    • create extensions of the assignment- give students a more challenging pedigree to solve, possibly have these students help a student who is struggling

  • Students will be able to alter their pedigree if needed based on the feedback provided

  • Work period: students will have this class to continue to work on their pieces for the showcase on Day 8
